Default Marcum modification - "make-do"

So the arm on my Marcum lx5 broke and I was hoping to head out fishing tomorrow. I was trying to think of what I could use as a temporary arm for tomorrow before I fabricate a new unbreakable arm out of metal some how.
This is what I came up with.

It is a wrench slightly smaller than the size of the bolt it is on.

I put the half broken arm on the other side for now as well in case the little rubber stopper doesn't want to stay on the open end of the wrench.

It even folds up nicely because the wrench isn't too long. The transducer is stored in a sock

It will work for tomorrow, but I am hoping to make up a real arm sometime soon. I may go with a pool noodle float like the vexs or birds have. I'm undecided at this point.

Agreed but believe this is only a temp fix.
I have never had a arm break for me but might order a couple spares that I'm sure between me and my buddies will see some use!!
