Last day of the 2012 hunting season. Last minutes before nightfall. On one the first few hunting seasons without my Dad (He died of cancer when i was 17) I was 19or 20 when i took this pic. Shot my biggest buck (at that time) In the area in the pic where we spread my Dads ashes. Couldnt ask for a better way to end that hunting season.

probably my most favourite upland photo.
My son and his dog Louie, first dog he trained by himself, and the first bird Louie pointed!

This is one of my favourite big game photos, my all time favourites are on prints and I haven't scanned them .
This was a great day because we had been bird hunting and I switched the barrels from the 20 gauge to the 6.5X55 barrels in the afternoon and took and opportunity when it presented itself at about 110 paces offhand!

Another couple of favourites

my best bear to date .. foggy and a little cold for May 29 , This area is now closed to bait due to an overabundance of non existent grizzly bears .

That's a beautiful bird. Do you shoot many of them? Would look great as a mount.

From my very first hunt, last year. Got a decent buck that fit nicely in my old Hyundai Elantra hatchback.

I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti. I mean, I ate his heart with some yam fries and a nice tripel.

Not a big buck but I just love the country it came out of. I had also shot a large black bear that morning. Was a great day. Good memories.

Default goose hunts.

The first hunt is from back in the day when my grandpa took us older grandson's goose hunting. and the second on is from 2013 when we all went goose hunting again for old times sake.
