how about some info? generally with a statement like that there is a link, a pic, some inclination of what you are talking about

I see 2.4% gold and 3.8% silver that's not earth shattering

Gotta wonder who would dump that many contracts on a Sunday and why? Pretty odd move.

Who knows. We're right back where we were on gold 2 months ago or so. The majority of the move occurred in 15 minutes so it must have been one entity behind the move, not a sustained selloff by many traders like we had on last Friday.

The media will have some narrative for it this morning. Someone must have got caught offside or a government is having a currency problem or China is continuing its war on commodity prices. I'm going with the China one. They are trying to hammer the price of everything lower recently.

Sounds like there were 24,000 contacts dumped on a market order and triggered technical stop outs set around 1750.

Someone is very invested in keeping the gold price suppressed.

Tho I do like the concept of bitcoin, I suspect the govts will defeat the bit, think taxxxx and people will flee the currency out of fear... and all the crytos.

Then gold will fly and have it's day, but will be a brief glory

Then meanwhile the globalists will take possession of all assets whilst we are so happy watching them take it all, or so we are told

So better than metal, how 'bout a run on freeze dryers... while we so happy not owning anything, we can rehydrate some ground moose and beef and pig and chow down on our secret non bill gates protein snacks.

They gonna come and take our guns away, forcibly if need be... but they aint coming to take away our packaged meats!!!!

I wonder what happens if you try to freeze dry a good wholesome BBQ steak... will it reconstitute yummy???

They gonna take the gold and the silver, the land and all assets, or so we are being warned, so what's the point of owning gold and silver if we cannot own it, and a=cannot cash it in without big brother knowing

...but if we can have a steak a week, we will be happier than if we cannot have a steak a week

10 years from now, happiness will be the man, woman with a belly full of meat.

You will own nothing and you will be happy... if you did yer freeze drying!

I better learn how, I hear its a steep learning curve

I wonder what I could trade a freeze dried pig for 10 years from now??? hmmm.... me and my wicked thots... I'm horrible

Nuthin… just eyes wide open. But i dont watch CBC

Bear in mind the UN 2030 stated objectives, and world leaders telling us we will own nothing and be happy. Just dig and start reading… or just keep watching Trudeaus propaganda and happily continue

I’m of the belief that 0.0001% of the Canadian population really has no interest in where the spot prices of silver & gold are. I’m sitting on around 27 lbs of silver & I have no interest & I sleep well every night.

Not sure where you are getting your numbers. Gold is at 1,746 and has been in that range for the last couple of months. Gold has traded in a narrow band of 17 to 1900 for over two years. It briefly hit $2024 in Aug 2020 but it didn't hold. Silver has dropped and is trading around 28 bucks. As far as owning 27 pounds of silver, that amounts to less than 12,000 dollars. With the current price of groceries I don't think I would be planning my retirement, or apocalypse survival on that.

COMEX Gold Contract (GOLDS:COM)

1,744.62 18.25 (1.06%)
As of: 09/30/21 10:01:16 am
(delayed at least 15 minutes)

Good move on your p[art to have sold that much silver. I said quite a while ago when everyone was all excited about 40 buck silver and it running to $70 that they were smoking too much Ganja. All the best.

So is it time to start thinking about buying up a bit of silver and gold with prices as they sit now or do you think it is going to continue fading?

I always looked at physical bullion as insurance, more then an investment. The time to buy was 10 or 20 years ago, but hindsight.

I may buy a bit more silver yet anyway.
