Default Cigars

Tobacco prices have gotten so crazy it’s getting harder and harder to enjoy smoking them. What’s your go to cigar shop in the Edmonton area?
Any favourites when it comes to online dealers for buying and shipping/importing cigars to Alberta?

My go to is a little Mohawk shop in ON. Try cigarchief.com.

Good smokes, good price, and never had issue getting my cigars.

Me and Bessiedog are actually enjoying some good Backwoods this week from them.

They have good inventory on fine stuff.

Default Nottingham in Sherwood Park

Went to a little shop in Sherwood Park.....im not much of a cigar smoker, but occasionally I'll buy a small pack. Small shop, big line up at the till. Looked to me like tons of selection, lots of big humidors.
Can't say about pricing, but guys buying $300 bucks worth at a time, so must be ok? Busy little place, I'll go back (in 6 months for another small pack).

Nottingham Cigars and Pipes.

La Tienda is my go-to in Edmonton. It’s off Whyte Ave so parking sucks, but I’ll park at the Safeway and walk the block. Knowledgeable staff with great recommendations. Coffee and a place to sit outside available. Just cigars, no ciggies, papers, bongs, or even pipe tobacco. No clue on price but I’m only a stick a month kind of guy.

Great staff too. I would go there simply for that reason alone. Prices on the house cigars are reasonable and good quality. I really like that shop

Cigarchief if you're ordering online.

https://cigarchief.com/

Burlington on Whyte ave if you want to go in person. Nice shop, great people. Big roomy walk-in humidor with an excellent selection.
Ask about a membership

I have family in the US and order there, have it sent to my stepson who forwards them to me! Saves me a bundle!!!!

If you have friends/family in the US, ask if they're willing to help you out. If they are, check out "Holts Cigar Company"

https://www.holts.com/

If you're interested, contact Holts and ask if they ship to Canada. I believe they do. Chances are though getting shipped direct from them to you that you'll get hit with significant duty fees. If you have an intermediary ship them, then not so much. In 10+ years of having friends/family ship me cigars from the US I've only paid duty about 3 or 4 times.

My Dad was down from Edmonton for a visit on the weekend. Saturday night, after a long day battling the Southern Alberta winds on our motorcycles, we spent a couple hours in the hot tub sipping whiskey and rum while enjoying a couple of Partagas #4.

Dad works in Cuba for the past 20 years so he always has some good cigars.

You just made my day. I thought flavored tobacco was banned in Canada, guess I was wrong. I have been rationing my stock from my last trip to USA.
