Default Great day at Gull

Was out yesterday just off Sandy Point and we had a ton of action. We released everything but caught 4 pike that were keepers and landed 9 more that were all 50-60 range. Also had alot of fun with a bunch of smaller perch. We also landed 2 nice ling and 1 whitefish. If we were not so lazy to move to deeper water we probably would have had a 5 species day! That being said it made for a great day on the ice and the weather was fantastic to boot.Hope everyone else had as much fun as the 2 of us did.

Nice work! Congrats on the great day. Don't second guess sitting still. It was a nice day and as long as you enjoyed yourself, you found success

That's awesome! We started off at sandy point and got 4 really nice perch right off the bat, the perch bite was on for maybe 15 minutes, and then nothing for the rest of the day. We moved around a few times and only saw a few down hole. Ah well, better luck next time!

Should be ok on the trails. 4x4 recommended if you venture off the beatin' paths.

Good for and your buddies. It was an especially nice day to be out on the ice. Glad you had such a nice day.

Fantastic day!
As for the 5 species thing is that would have been cool. My rule however: you don't leave fish to find fish!
