Default Selling a boat

In order to sell a boat 90hp outboard and me being the seller is there a marine bill of sale or something extra I would need to make the sale?

You may need 2, 1 for the boat, 1 for the trailer. Depends on if your selling the trailer. Otherwise, regular bill of sale is sufficient, nothing special.

Transport Canada require previous owners information on the Pleasure Craft Licensing application.

Yup, then the boat registration number would be assigned to you.

I treated my last sale no different than a car, Alberta 2017. One bill of sale listing the boat, motor and trailer, including the serial numbers of each. That's also how the dealer did my new unit. Gave the buyer the old half of the trailer registration for the license plate.
As for those big ID registration numbers, those have nothing to do with the sale. The new owner can do that after by simply going on line and can transfer that number to themselves.

Best to do two bill of sales. 1 for boat and one for trailer. Absolutely no hassles for the buyer when going to register them. Some people at some of the registries can be , well you know.
