Default kakanee ???

Evening everyone,
Hope your ice season is going well.
Hoping for some info, and yes i have searched it.
What are the closest lakes to Dawson creek with Kokanee stocked in it. .??? Bc tourisn says there is lots but doesn't seem to list them.
Any help would be great.
Thanx in advance,
Ken.

Good morning Gummy, I'm quite sure there are just rainbows and brookies in our neck of the woods. I live in Sexsmith and hit up One Island quite often, most times the Gerards are quite challenging and the brookies are big and aggressive. I love this lake. I believe the Gerard rainbows are a strain from that area and are sometimes called "Kokanee". Let me know what you find out

When I saw the title, I thought someone had a new slang name for pike. Slough shark, Snot rocket, Kakanee, it's actually a pretty good one.
