Fish the points and try to stay in the 20-25 FOW range.

Also as you go north of the launch keep to the right as it can get real shallow on the left side.

watch all the boats there should be a lot and see where they are fishn.

should we jig or troll? we are bringing minnows with us either way. maybe troll until we see a school of fish on the finder and jig there

Troll until you find fish. Then jig. My advice for you is to not spool up and go full bore with your big motor unless you're in the middle of the lake. There are sunken islands north and to the left of the boat launch. Every time i'm out I find a new shallow spot.

Anyway I caught some wallys trolling and jigging last thursday. 1 was 3 pounds or so. 1 pike but I wasn't targeting pike.

You'll find walleye on any drop offs. Believe your fish finder. If you see nothing, move.

at pine coulee, i trolled around saw a couple fish on the screen until we found a big school. didnt have minnows though. so we came back the next day, found them in the same spot, and thats when i hammered 40 eyes and a pike. dad had a 10+ pound pike on but it cut his line.

You should find walleye at most all points this time of year. go norh from the launch and start around the second island in about 20FOW should be good there with a jig and minnow.

Troll in close if you want to hook up with a pike. Under 10FOW if you want the big pike.

Well after trip 1 I got 2 pike, and 1 eye. Dad got 1 pike.

All the pike had scars on them. Going back out tonight on the east side of the lake.

All were caught trolling

I'm in site 13.

Ended up hammering the walleye. Had 11 today. Lost probably just as many. All but one jigging in 30 FOW. Going back tomorrow in the AM/afternoon as well.

We will be on the west side.

Also I bought a brodin ghost net, and man that thing is slick. It's to small for the pike in here, but perfect for the walleye. I used a regular net on a pike and he twisted it up so bad, I spent at least 5 mins untangling both my trebles from it.

Ended up doing well on the eyes today. Found a back bay and due to the wind it was blowing perfectly all morning to drift us over a sand bar a few houndred yards long and about 9-12 feet deep. Every pass we were catching fish it seemed.

Nothing more than dragging a jig/minnow on the bottom. It cudnt have been any better as there were absolutly no rocks or weeds. Good times

Good grief folks! Nothing to suggest I was fishing at night here!!
And yes I had a copy of the regs, and have had for almost the past 20 years fishing cvr.

Aside from that, fishing was very good this weekend. CVR seems to be hit or miss as of late. Mostly miss in my case

Good CVR update thanks for sharing.
