Default Heart Lake

Anyone fish Heart lake north of Lac La biche lately?? Fished it years ago, hang your hook over the edge of the boat, pike literally jump out of the water!! Seen some tug boats netting as well

Aboriginals allegedly own that lake. I as well have not fished it in a few years but did very well on the Pike and managed a few Eye's to boot. East side of the lake was pretty consistent for us.

The fishing is good from a numbers standpoint, but average size has gone down a lot. I don't recommend leaving your vehicle there though. We had a truck completely ripped apart, and spoke to several other people with vehicle breakins. It was not only ripped apart inside, the gasline hose was cut underneight and barely made it back to lac la biche.

Same thing here, truck torn apart, gas hose cut, camp gone throught. They say you pay so you can lunch your boat and a guy is there for security. what a bunch of B.S. He lets his buddies now when to come steal your stuff, I wil l never go back. To bad the fishing was very good.
