I run 46.0gr BLC-2, large mag primer, 165gr Speer btsp @ 2700fps out of my weatherby vanguard. I get sub moa with the Speer out of my ruger predator and if I switch to Hornady interlocks or sst I get 1.25” @ 100yds.
My daughter shot this bear on Monday with a Kimber Montana in 308. The bullet was a 150gr Hornady Interlock. She hit him pretty much broadside real tight to the shoulder (none of this middle of the middle nonsense :-) )and he went 25 yards. I recovered the bullet and if I remember this morning I’ll grab a picture of it as well.
