Question Are the fish edible at pigeon lake

i keep hereing not to eat anything in that lake

I think they taste fine. Ive known people with the walleye tags too that ate them and they said they were good.

i would think that F&W would post consumption advisory signs at boat launch entrances.Not sure though,

i would stay away from pigeon, the fish are toxic and the lake is dead. Just a heads up....

I would be more worried about eating tuna and salmon from safeyway but thats only my opinion

No need to get SNAPPY he is asking a question many ask As far as I know there is no problem eating the fish have been eating fish from there for
a few years never had any problem or seen any thing to make me change..

Any tips on where to snag some whites there? I've been twice, and only caught some walleyes, couple 5lb or so and few smaller, no tags for them yet so let them go, going to get myself a tag and grab a couple hopefully.. But i am after the whites so any tips would b great!!

The regulation book has all the important dates for the tag draws as well as consumption information for many of the major lakes in the province. Nothing for Pigeon though.

No ,i use chraime,, best azz wipe ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,often wondered how many people wizz on the same lake there fish in,and then eat the fish .

there was smth said a few years ago during the summer when there was that big algae outbreak... u werent advised to eat any then... but now its fine
