It's pretty low water levels. We've got a14 foot Lund so it wasnt a problem.

If you don't mind me asking, what area of the lake and how did you fish it? troll or jig? Not looking for your secret spots or anything I just never fished it with my boat, only ice fishing. I don't have a proper down rigger setup or anything.

How's the road on the way up? Washboard, Ruts? Get my 17ft in the lake? Just might go next weekend. Could use a little tasty morsel of laker on the plate

No problem. We went to the end of the lake. Fished in 50 feet . White buzzbomb. Topped with a half smelt. Drop to bottom. Lots of hits on the way down so have a sensitive rod .

The road has some washboard for sure. There were some bigger boats on Sunday.

Driftwood is the launch.
Pretty nice set-up -- long concrete ramp.
Problem is the water level is so low lately you need to leave the ramp to get the boat off the trailer. Bigger boats struggle; smaller boats (under 16ft) typically no issue.

Is there a spot a guy can park the boat and have shore lunch maybe a lunchtime fire in a pit along the edge of the lake?

You can access the shore anywhere on tha lake. Not sure about open fires being allowed.

Thanks for the report!

I've never fished Spray Lakes before and definitely want to try this year. Do you think a decent inflatable boat (Intex Mariner) with an electric trolling motor would be able to handle the lake?

Can I ask what techniques you guys are using?

Trolling?
Down Riggers?
Jigging?

Thanks for the info....

Seems like most people jig. Every boat out there last weekend was jigging. I tried my new downriggers but I was having issues and think I was trolling to slow and never had a hit until I started jigging. A few people fish off shore I have never talked to them but it drops off deep quick in places so I assume they must catch fish.
