Default Are the lakes melting

How many weeks do you guys think we have to ice fish? I know the bigger lakes will be closed soon. But how will the smaller ones be like Hasse or Chickakoo?

Still 30 plus inches of good ice on most lakes in central Alberta, more up north. Flood water may start to be a problem.........

Still full ice...zero melting...probably a little over night growth...on Lake Sundance anyways for reference in the Calgary Area.

I found my data for the past 2 years...knowing that the ice is the thickest I have seen in Calgary for 10 years...we should have a fun contest guessing ice out.

Wednesday April 7, 2010. Last year was April 30, 2009.

I am thinking May 15th is looking good
