Default Weatherby Vanguard Series 2?

Has anyone bought one of these guns. Or has anyone looked at them. Going to Calgary tomorrow and want to have a look at them. Where would i find the biggest selection and best price?

I bought one at Cabelas here in Edmonton in stainless 270 win.

My father wouldn't believe me until he came to the spruce grove gun club with me to witness it. the rifle will shoot 1" groups at 300 yards from a solid rest. that's 1/3 moa.

The fit and finish are excellent and the trigger is very good. My weight says a little less than 3 lbs.

I picked one up at Cabelas, stainless in .257 Wby. Haven't shot it yet but it and finish are good, trigger is great once you realize that the creep is actually the 2 stage trigger doing its thing . I also picked up an old model Sub-MOA .223 at WSS (haven't shot that one yet either) around the same time. Put a Timney trigger on that one. My only wish was that the S2 had the stock of the Sub-MOA, I like the textured threaded synthetic over the plastic, but think the S2 stock might grow on me.

I have one in .240 Weatherby and yes it is very accurate. Bought mine at Wolverine in Red Deer they are the only place that had a .240 and i tried everywhere. Hey Bigrack you can buy sub moa or accumark stock for your vanguard from Bell and Carlson and yes they ship to Canada. I think i paid $300.
