Default Savage 20” sporter contour rebarrel options

Hello all,

Looking for suggestions on re-barreling a Savage Lady hunter currently in .22-250. Nothing wrong with it, just want to move it up to at least .243 so my daughter can hunt deer with it. Does anyone know if the Stevens 200 or any Savage sporter profile barrel will fit? I’d prefer to keep it to 20” as it has great balance as-is, and don’t want to spend a pile on it as the purpose is hunting.

Anyone know if the Axis youth barrels would be a match? They appear to have a different nut than the 10/11 series.

Thanks

I believe they will fit , your best bet would be to contact Jerry at Mystic Precision and ask him, he will be able to tel you exactly.

That's an unusual but very good suggestion. 1-10" is needed for 100 gr.+ bullets.
