Default Internet Explorer Cant see Pics on AO

Hi all, I have just updated my operating system to Windows 10. When I open AO on explorer 11, I can not see pictures. If I open with chrome I can. How do I rectify this problem. Thanks in Advance.

I have been trying for a couple of months to get used to Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. I am pretty close to going back to Firefox or even Chrome because the functionality is so backwards and out of date in Microsoft. Far too many steps and dysfunctional bits. I don't like Chrome because it is Google's massive tracking and data collection system but realistically all browsers track. It is just that Google makes a living selling your info.

My advice, don't mess around with the substandard Microsoft browser functions. Easier to switch than fight.

Could be some of the new anti-tracking and built-in ad blocking features. I'm not super familiar with IE/Edge these days as I recommend Firefox to people but it'd be worth seeing if there's a setting to turn down the level of blocking.

Firefox by default has pretty strong anti-tracking settings and sometimes causes problems on some websites. Chrome is weaker by default (so Google can harvest more data) and that's why it seems to have less problems.

In Firefox that setting is in Options -> Privacy and Security and it's labeled "Enhanced Tracking Protection". Look for a similar menu in Edge and see if you can turn it down a notch.

^This. I don't care if Google tracks me. It often presents stuff that I do like.

Chrome is pretty strong for website compatibility.

If you prefer to continue using IE, start simple and clear the cache and cookies. See if that works and go from there.

Another Google Chrome fan, here ... I dumped IE/Edge a looong time ago ❗

As for Tracking, it's not an issue for me ... 'Bitdefender Total Security' blocks it.
