Default Dallas Stars coach fired this morning. Why???

So the Dallas Stars coach fired this morning for reasons related to material unprofessional conduct. What in tarnations is that? Sometimes speculation is way worse than the facts. If the Oilers fired Tippett this morning, I would sure as heck want to know why.

Anyone hear why the guy was canned?

He probably stood up for some veterans. Or maybe the paparazzi caught him rapping "My Type" while in traffic.

I predicted this would happen when the Bill Peters day heated up. There will continue to be coach firings in all levels of sports and all sports. The momentum is just getting rolling. All players who were at one time offended by their coach will now have their chance at revenge.
I wonder how the military will react to this because that will be coming as well.
And bosses, and teachers and ……
The world is a changing place.

I didn't hear why, I did hear why not. Heard it wasn't because of abuse/slander/racism/discrimination/sexism/etc. Made me wonder if it was one of the old fashioned no-nos, got drunk, got caught stealing, etc.

They gave him the boot for saying “ Daniel Carcillo was an below average hockey player.”

3 fired and 1 under investigation so far, just the tip of the ice berg, the snowball is just starting to roll boy's.

As for the reason they said it was for " unprofessional conduct " don't think they need or are going to tell us more than that.

Jim Nill said it was a "material act of unprofessionalism" and it had nothing to do with past or current players.

Well #metoo....or 'pound-me-too' as the case may be.

Got to believe all the victims, Justin said so. Until it was his victim, then it was experienced differently.

I expect to see all the really good, qualified, experienced and excellent coaches are going to get skidded because of unprofessional conduct, or moral turpitude, or because he slapped some punk who probably desperately needed it, or hurt somebodies feelings by telling them the truth, or was just ignorant and rank because that happens to be their personality type, or because they said 'Jesus wept' and it offended somebody who hates Christians, or for some other reason. Maybe even a good reason too. But the Night of the Long Knives is just starting, the entire pro sports industry is going to be a blood bath, sure as Krishna made little green apples.

Oh, sorry, did that offend someone? I guess you can call my boss and bitch about it. Cheers.

The way we are going here ..... all of my teachers, coaches and both my parents, they way the treated poor old me and spoke to poor old me growing will be in jail soon.

I remember Sister Alexis slapping the snot out of us in Grade 4 or grabbing our ears and twisting us around and telling us we were stupid ......... if she hasn't passed away by now .... I think she would get 20 years to life for what she did to poor little me.

Right? My friends and I growing up were pretty sure our grade 2 teacher was a guard at Auschwitz..... She had an 18'' length of that clear green garden hose, with hockey tape for a grip, and that's what she strapped kids with if they gave her any problems. Kids rarely gave her problems more than once. I learned to read, write and do math.

This could be the greatest theme party / bar meet up of all time. My kids think I'm making stuff up when I tell them about old school discipline.

Poor little Sky in grade two forced to hold a couple of Bibles over his head for what seemed like an eternity.
