which release?

Going to get back into shooting a bow again and maybe hunting with it next year. What brand and model of release do you archers out there use? So many on the market these days.

Go with a Scott Mongoose. I have been using the Scott Wolverine and had some issues in real cold weather. Never had an Problem with a Mongoose

If you are looking for a trigger release for hunting look at the carter quickie. I use one for hunting and really like it.

truball "t" handle with thumb trigger, tried the truball wrist strap and a couple scott models but the t handle is great, clip it on your bow then hang your bow beside you or lay on your lap and you never have to worry about fumbling to get your release on the loop

I have the dual caliper Scott Shark, very light trigger that breaks like glass. Buy a quality release and accuracy will follow.

I've been shooting Scott single caliper releases for 8 years. And I will never shoot anything else. I had a mongoose for 7 years, now I shoot the wildcat. I wish I hadn't sold my mongoose....the wildcat is awesome, but the mongoose had a little rubber stopper that cut out a lot of noise! That's the only thing my wildcat is missing!
