Spring Lake 10km north east of hyth

Just wondering what people thought about this lake. I tryed it for the first time last year in a belly boat, no luck at all and off the dock with a pickrel jig no luck. Maybe bad time of the yr just before fall...

Was out there about a month ago, people were catching a few, everyone but me apparently. They said they were using shrimp, guy beside me hammered 6 in about 1/2 hour. When i was there in the summer i got a few 2 to 3lb'er on green Doc Spratley.

well good to know, how thick is the ice on that lake this time of yr.

I'm not sure about right now, but when i was out its was about 22in. I hear Snipe Lake is the lake to hit right now. I had a buddy catch 34 whitefish,18 perch and 2 pike on Saturday. That is where i'm going next weekend

thats the one down further on the spring lake road right? On the left hand side about km12 then down the cut line.

No snipe lake is near valleyview, I believe you are thinking of jackfish lake. it was winterkilled fairly bad a few years ago.

oh right jackfish thats the one, i herd it was bad now that ist comin back to me lol.. Snipe lake that towards sunset house.
