Default Slave Lake conditions?

I was planning on heading to Slave on the weekend, how's the getting around after the wind and snow the past few days? Talked to a guy that was at Cutbank this past week and there was a good trail punched through. Anybody been out?

Thanks in advance,
WC

We were up at Jussard on the weekend and it was tough going to get off the lake. Flood water was'nt a problem yet. Still about 4feet of ice. I would guess that there will be a decent trail by this weekend.

Lots of snow at Hillards bay. Hit flood ice between shaws point and cutbank. Quads stuck and snow machines in certain spots.

Thanks guys, might have to rethink things. I was afraid it would be bad, tough going around here never mind further north.
