Default Crow decoying

This video is a compilation of a couple of outings I had in September & October 2015. They were overall 2 poor days, but there were enough clips to make a short video.

First day was a glorious day and between 2 recently cut barley fields I had a very poor return. Second day was from last week. The farmer had rang to tell me the field of drilled wheat was black with crows. As we all know farmers are prone to exaggeration & we managed 20 corvids & 1 magpie.

If you really want to have some fun use a electronic crow call, if they are legal there. A crow in distress call will have a hundred crows in you lap in 10 minutes.

Sorry only seeing this post now. Unfortunately, e callers are not legal to use to shoot birds in Ireland, we can use them to photograph birds but not shoot them.

I have an app on my phone & a Bluetooth speaker that I use for fox shooting though.
