No I use a big round plastic bobber so that it catches lots of wind and just hand line the fish up. If you mean did I try my bobber yesterday no... I was driving out onto the lake and got stuck in a drift, while I was digging my truck out my dog got out of my truck and decided to go for a run. He then decided that instead of coming back he would run as far away from the plowed road as he could. So I ended up walking like a kilometer towards a black speck out in the snow that I was assuming was my dog... yup it was my dog, sleeping in the snow. Now he knew he was in trouble so he got up and booked it even farther away. I had to go get my wife who was working to come out and go get him because he likes her better than me. Did no fishing whatsoever, just some digging and a whole lot of walking, and ****ed my wife off as well

Sounds like it might be time to leave that dog at home with the wife and get one that enjoys fishing
