Got drawn in my home wmu this year and managed to call this guy in. He came in grunting and thrashing brush and popped out at 10 yards. Shot him with a full pass through. He made it about five steps before I grunted at him to get him stopped. He rapidly got wobbly legs and toppled over less than 20 yards from me. Pretty thrilled with how it went! My first rut moose hunt so it’s hard to beat that. I was shooting a APA Mamba 33xr. 82# draw with 680gr arrow.

I've used broadheads on the ones I've taken...got a pile of old arrows and heads.I don't have a dog , guess if you are wanting to use your dog for retrieval a judo would be the way to go .

I have not shot geese but have taken ducks with a bow and tried the judo points on them. I don’t recommend it for ducks even as they can be fairly tough birds. Old broadheads are a much better option

The odds of a goose flying around with an arrow is too high of a possibility with judo points in my opinion. Of course it can work when everything goes perfectly but that doesn’t always happen

Update , locals " goose pros " deemed this bird to be a Speck/ Canada hybrid ..also in agreement from fellows down south with Delta waterfowl .. Here's a few more pics of the bird .

Default Whitetail Buck

Was lucky enough to rattle in this little 5 x 6 White-tailed buck on the last afternoon of the last day of my hunt! Overall, a great week.

2023 has been a good run with the bow. Did my first archery cougar hunt with a buddy and his hounds.

Pulled the archery antelope tag and was able to decoy a good goat on day 2.

November whitetail buck following 4 does through the bush and he gave me a 12 yard frontal shot.

Awesome Cam! Keep it up and keep showing us the pics! Lots of critters still to chase with the stick and string over winter.

Almost had a shot 4 days ago . I set up the caller at 20 yds from a brush patch I was hiding in ... started It up and had 3 come from my right to 120 yds then stop . I froze still and watched them an suddenly a coyote appeared going left to right at 30 yds leaving !! My son said he came between me and the call and must have winded it ,never saw him until it was too late ...next time

This one marks a major milestone for me in a long bowhunting journey. It was a great way to end a very tough year of hunting.
