Crawling Valley Res - status?

I am heading there this evening and wondering what the water situation is on top of the ice? Will I need tire chains? Bags for my shoes? Bilge pump for my hut?

I was there last weekend and by 10pm the slush turned to water rather fast.

I just got back from McGregor no water on top ice good drove on at the boat launch. Just the fish weren't cooperating only one small pike

Ah Great news! I hate wet feet. Didn't end up going out, something about other plans, oh well.

Was out there today from 2-7. Abt 1 km N of Campground. 16"+ with no snow on top. Not a single bite.
