Bit Runner , How do you like your Reezen? Currently I shoot a MQ-32 and it shoots nice but looking to upgrade.

This MOAS, are all the guys there going to be shooting the lights out, or is their going to be average Joe's there aswell. I would be interested in attending to give it a try.

the canadians and the MOAS are fun for everyone you do not need to be a top shooter at either competition to do well or have fun at either. They let me and russ shoot there and we are far from being good..............

Bowhunter Release - BHR(m/f) or BHR(m) & BHR(f)
1. A compound, recurve or long bow may be used.
2. The bow must be shot with some type of release aid.
3. If a sight is used, it will have fixed pins.
4. Cross hair style pins are allowable as fixed pin sights.
5. Circle style pins are allowed if the circles are of one size.
6. Sights may not be adjusted while on the range during a tournament.
Bowhunter Open - BHO(m/f) or BHO(m) & BHO(f)
1. A compound, recurve or longbow may be used.
2. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers may be used.
3. A moveable sight of any kind may be used.

Hope this helps

TBark

Glad to hear it. Would have liked to have seen you at the Mother as well. Lots of hunters and definately the right crowd for your product.....maybe next year. We will have a booth at both the mother and the Nationals. Looking forward to seeing you there. The Mother of All Shoots is one of the most spectacular and well run 3D archery tournaments. Pat and her crew do an amazing job and everybody has the time of their lives. The shoot is a fantastic venue for any skill level and the comradery amoungst archers is great to see. I hear the registrations are pouring in so get your registrations in to assure you a spot.

Battery

If you just come and watch, you will be regretting not bringing your bow along to shoot. They have all skill levels shooting at the shoot. I remember the first year I decided to just go and "watch"......I had to leave as I couldn't stand just watching as I wanted to shoot so bad. I was intimidated to shoot but it was such a relaxed atmosphere and the people that were shooting were just plain having a great time. I have registered for this year again which will be my 4th year. The first 3 years I shot, I was paired up with Jim from Jimbows Archery in Calgary and his friend. They were shooting 10 or 10x the whole shoot and it was a bit intimidating but they never put me down....just complimented me on shots I was making and then giving me tips on how to do things a little different to help me. It was great and I wouldn't trade that weekend for any other.
The folks at Red Deer Archery Center and their volunteers put on a weekend that cannot be topped or surpassed.
Give them a call and register, you won't be disappointed. There are lots of folks on this site that will be shooting there and you will have a chance to meet them....maybe even shoot with them but in general make some new friends and connections.
Hope to see you there........Marco

Stopped in at Red Deer Archery Centre tonight and the shoots are filling up fast.......lots of new to the shoot archers which should be good. For those of you that are figuring that you will be able to register the week before........you may be disappointed. Log on to their website and reserve your spot and a weekend that you will not forget. Sounds like the trade show booths are filling up as well......it will be it's own Outdoors and sportsman's show all on its own Good job Pat and your crew......the shoot will be first rate as always...........Marco
