My guess: the guy is dealing with any PMs from people actually interested, and not wasting his time reading the rest of this garbage.

Default New Hunting Product - Focus Group

So this is how we cultivate and support our own? It's not like he is one of these so called "antis". I'm a little embarrassed to say the least. Even the admin of this site are taking pot shots at him, post #28.

I wonder why no one wants to post anymore?

Keep it up Rook. Send me a PM if you need some help.

Happy Hunting

i looked at what the moderator said and by no means would i call that a "potshot" i would say its for the most part constructive criticism. i have to agree with them if i spent 20 min writing out a detailed bio for the OP and found out it was for a new brand of tactical pencil i would feel kinda stupid. if the op wants to fill us in im sure a lot of people would be willing if they had an idea what they were signing up for.

Then don't sign up and don't run the guy down or express opinions that your time isn't free. Do what I do 99% of the time and ignore the post. But we as a "hunting community" simply can't do that. I guess exactly like I am doing now. Ha

That was not s pot shot at all , just the truth .
First thing - I am not the admin here, simply a moderator .
Second thing , I was completely candid in that post and have learned a long time ago to volunteer NOTHING unless I know exactly what I am getting into and what the person's intentions are .
I know nothing about this member except from looking at his previous posts and I will be damned if I am going to send a bio to someone so they can decide wether I am worthy of them without knowing anything about them or their intentions .
Get burned once and you get s tad jaded and very suspicious when it comes to giving out information .

I sent a bio because I'm interested in new hunting ideas. It seems that the product might be a good one for some folks. There's no sense the op including a person in his focus group who wouldn't use the product or who doesn't use certain hunting techniques. Obviously with a new invention the developer can't offer too much information lest the idea get stolen. I think folks are overreacting .....again.
