Not much water at all. Was my first time at travers from 11am-3pm. drove from the lbpp boat ramp eastbound till i found some old holes. And set up. Had about 4 or 5 bites on smelts, landed one small pike about 30cm. Not my best day but atleast i wasnt skunked. Gonna give it another go soon maybe near little bow resort, might have some better luck. When i arrived there was alot of people hugging the wooden poles near the launch but never asked how they were doing.

Since the last update, the wind picked up ten-fold. We were planning on spending the night in a wall tent but had to leave for fear of waking up to a tent taking off and cart-wheeling down the lake.

About 1-2 inches of water on the top of the ice, but absolutely no drifts, all the snow has melted or blown away. First 4-6 inches of ice is rotten, the rest is good.

Was -10 as we left. Cold front is here.

Pike were interested, slow but steady all throughout the day until 4pm or so.

Check the wind before heading out!!

pike action pretty steady yesterday , nothing huge but took one home . Access good until this snow of course. tons of deer in camground area , biggest buck I've seen for a couple years there , had to be 40 head at least.

They were there on Saturday as well, we saw the buck but I didn't get a pic. I managed this one with my cell phone at around 5pm.

There were a bunch of younger ones with them as well, good to see them. Hopefully they can make through the rest of the winter!

Hello Duster.
Was that you heading out Saturday morning going Southbound on the Deerfoot pulling a camper? I thought I recognized you but wasn't sure.

That is one bad boy Walley you have there. Last time I saw you you had that massive Whitefish from L.B. in your boat

Dodger.
