Default Sylvan Lake Tips

Hello fellow members,

I'm thinking of going to Sylvan Lake for the first time on Saturday. From searching the forum, it sounds like I can launch at Sunbreaker Cove. Is this correct?

Anyone have any tips on general area of the lake to fish (walleye/pike doesn't matter). Just vague like North/south/east/west to get me started.

I normally fish North of Edmonton, but thought I'd take the kids somewhere closer for the day. If someone wants to PM me some spots that'd be appreciated. I'd be willing to trade info on some of the northern lakes I fish every year like Winifred or Heart Lake.

Straight out and to the west from sunbreaker in about 15-18 fow can be good or go straight across and there's a bit of a bay RR24 come down to the lake same depth of water. Jig head and a minnow a few inches off bottom and or with a slip bobber should work well. Hope fishing is good
