Anyone know if any part of hwy 16 is closed?

Anyone on here have any idea if any part of Highway 16 is closed between Edmonton and Hinton?

Look at Alberta 511 - says it’s closed from Highway 32 to Marlboro in both directions

My nephew is north of Edson. He was going to Edmonton this morning but turned around cause the smoke was so thick he couldn’t see.

My son owns property just north west of edson and the only direction he was able to go the other day was west
