I had a 55 gal planted freshwater when I lived in TX. Blue rams (bred twice), cardinals, glowlight tetras, Otocinclus, ...) It was fun and not not hard to upkeep after everything becomes balanced - tempted to start it again with a larger tank, but not there yet

100 gal horse trough with ten goldifsh over wintering in it, keep them in the heated garage during the winter since their outdoor living space freezes solid
I've been keeping pond fish for 16 years now
If you want to see the yard ponds just do a quick search under my user name for threads mentioning yards and gardens

Down to two reef tanks. That's where the "reefer" part of hillbillyreefer comes from. Not what most on here assume.

Used to have a slight addiction to aquariums... None currently. Was into larger cichlids, tilapia, catfish, had a couple royal/clown knifes and also had a large African lungfish for a number of years. Moved to Alberta got into a little 12g saltwater setup with a couple clownfish and kept it for about 4 yrs then gave the whole works away as I began to neglect the tank as I got busier.

My favorite fish. The tang not the clowns.

Nice fish burbotman! Almost burbotishy in design - coincidence?

I have a 55 gal freshwater. My all star is a Dragon Goby - goes by other names as well but too lazy to look them up, but he's a dinosaur era looking eel thing. His name's Igor. I'll get a pic of him. Also is a Bumblebee Catfish, Red Tailed Shark, some cory cats, red-eyed tetras, raspboras. I feel like a more active, colorful tank, so am transitioning to several smaller schooling fish, neon tetras and such. My favorite fish is the Black Ghost Knife. Had one years ago and will be getting one again soon. They're a joy to watch.

Cheers

Was into freshwater in a big way but have now gotten out.

Mostly african cichlids.

Started with a 120 built in to the house when i bought it and it went from there. Got to the point where I was breeding and selling to a few local stores but it got to be work and the 'fun' part got lost.

I've down sized a ton and am now down to 1 saltwater 55 gallon corner tank, the 120 in wall with mostly african cichlids and a 40 upstairs with clown loaches and some other fun guys.

Now it's time to sell all the equipment that I accumulated. Give someone a great deal if you know anyone looking for a a good number of smaller tanks. 10's, 20/s and a 50 or two.

This pair had a lot of character, mom didn't do much 1st time, so I put her back in the main tank - look at her looking into the tank the male is in. Had to put a book there or male would keep staring back at her and forget about the eggs.. I would not beleive that if I didn't see it

My husband knows someone who has snakeheads. He mentioned once that he might release them and it freaked me out
