Default Didn't Let the Weather Stop Us

Well, my grandson has been itching to try out his new fishing rod, and grandma said yes it's windy and cold, but a couple hours won't hurt us. So I tossed some gear in the truck, bought some dew worms at Husky and off we went. Got to Rainbows End just outside of Edmonton at 5:00 pm and were soon hooked up to some hard fighting hawgs. Nothing strips line off your reel like a Rainbow Trout. Grandson had a great time, and never noticed the cold. In 1 1/2 hours we landed 11 beauties and kept 6. Biggest one pushed 25" and 7 lbs.
All in all a great afternoon on the shore. Grandson already asking when can we go again?IMG_1019.jpgIMG_1025.jpg

Awesome. Looks like some nice fish. The boy looks like he had a good time too. Good times all around.

He did reel in 9 of the 11 fish. The little man is a machine.
