Default sylvan lake dec 30

Hit the ice at range road 23 and about 1:30 and it was busy. fished around 10 feet of water looking for whites for about an hour with out even seeing a fish so decided to get out of the hut and lay on the ice about 8 feet closer to shore and see if I could get any action. The very first time i started twitching my COPPER wire worm up a white about 2 feet under the ice came after it and honestly spooked me a bit seems I didn't expect to see a fish so fast I ended up missing him but got a second chance about 20 seconds later. Landed and released the white and moved my shack over right away and fished there for about an hour or so. Caught one more white saw a few more and missed a couple. This is the 2-3 time I have moved my shack less the 10 feet give or take and have my fishing make a complete 360. In my opinion if your out ice fishing especially for perch or whites and not having any luck in a spot you know there should be some around start moving around I will never understand why but a move as little as 10 feet can make a huge difference. Its like when your out with your friends and you have two tip ups baited the same way 5 feet apart and only one of them gets all the hits. Going out to try Gull after the hockey game feel free to stop by and say hello ( blue Tacoma with a home made shack with green canvass ) Ill be in the brown lows landing area.

Money cant buy happiness but it can but fishing gear and that's kinda the same thing

we found the same thing, we were in about 15 fow at rr23, nothing. then moved over by Norglenwold in about 2-3 fow and same thing, gold wire worm and maggots, and boom, there was a white! not furious action, but there were enough to keep us there till sundown. so the whites are shallow right now i guess.

Me. And a buddy both fished sylvan hard yesterday. Went six hours and caught two small eyes

Went to rr23 and didnt see a fish on camera either. Saw it was busy but only one white laying besidea shack . So we went back to norglenwold.

My buddy caught 1 small pike 2 perch and 2 whites at gull on sat. So were going back to gull. Next time
