The point being is not how much money "they" make. It is about making people think before entering draws they really have no intention of pursuing after being drawn. There are many people standing in line with every intention of pursuing what they are drawn for, they take the time and do the research before entering a draw and know what they need to do when they are to try and make the hunt successful.
Lots think it is all about the money and making hunting an elitist sport, that's total garbage. If you cant afford to enter a bison draw at $40 for instance (just an example), you can afford to do the hunt.
Start mentioning more money to enter draws and lots of hunters get pi$$y. That is because they will have to actually THINK about what they want to hunt and when and prioritize. Right now we have most just entering all draws because it costs next to nothing to do so. If you get drawn and don't go, who cares, it was four dollars, big deal....
I also think that if you enter a draw at lets say $40, if you get drawn you pay full price for the tag the second you are. Again more incentive to actually think before entering...
