I could not sleep...freaking about the cat...did everything I could to find it...was laying awake upstairs when I heard a cat screaming bloody murder out front.
I ran down and saw him staring down a coyote on our front steps. CAT SCREAMING AND HISSING...and I just cut his claws today. The coyote was looking for an opening most likely and the cat had his back to our door...fur all standing up... I swung the door open and the coyote stood just out from the grass and our cat shot into the house.. Checked him thoroughly. Not a scratch...just a bit of sap from a juniper bush looks like.
OMG...I am shaking scared and happy all at the same time.
Happy ending...thank God!
scary stuff! we have coyotes in our area too.. (hawkwood) Praise the Lord that your cat got back safely.
