Default 22 legal?

Is it legal to shoot pheasants with a 22.

From the regs...

NOTE: While it is illegal to hunt migratory game birds with a single projectile (e.g. .22 rim fire, or center fire rifle), it is legal to use them to hunt upland game birds (this does not apply to hunting on game bird shooting grounds or hunting for Merriam’s turkey.

So yes for pheasants as long as its not a release site.

Please don't shoot them with a 22 around other guys running dogs . But all the power to you if your the only one in the field , and of course good luck !!!
