I am proposing this, but for all hunters, not just FN. Let everyone hunt the park, fair is fair.

Agree, but would be good to open the parks closest to these urban centres first. I’m sure they’ll be more than understanding.

Hell ya. And I’d volunteer to be your videographer! And I’d pass you the pool noodle. Gratis.

Mountain Guy, there’s your opportunity to put on the buckskins and coon hat and guide the hunters and gatherers.

Sure why not.
This was around the corner from my place this morning. Think they’d be interested?

Cool Here we go...

It was only a matter of time...

Another tribe wanting access to JNP, claiming it's their (former) traditional hunting grounds.

An Indigenous group representing more than 500 people with ancestral ties to the Rocky Mountains is calling for increased access, including limited hunting rights, to Jasper National Park.

"Aseniwuche Winewak calls on Parks Canada to immediately enter into negotiations to restore our access to the park and to prioritize our involvement in the co-management of Jasper both as the park's current neighbouring Indigenous Peoples and its former inhabitants," said an Oct. 27 letter from the band to Jasper National Park superintendent Alan Fehr.

Let it wide open to all FNs and let the tourists/general public freak out about it instead of hunters

Jasper is just the tip of the ice berg. The Cadomin mines are quietly being opened up as well to groups that live no where near them. Nothing can be done, it’s just a matter of time before these protected wildlife populations will be utilized to the full extent possible 🤷*♂️ enjoy it while you can
