Default Need coaching again

This thing is telling me my PM in box is 97% full. Alot of this stuff is many years old. I don't do too much of this.
I want to delete 97% of my inbox but can't seem to get at it.
Can anyone help an old, decrepid, worn out, computer illiterate, sorry sob
do this simple thing? Thanks.

Keep in mind that your private messages has both your Inbox but also your 'Sent Items' that you have to click on it to get to them. Then you can click on those to delete or move to a file as you desire.

Click on private messages under the welcome box upper right. Opens your inbox. Click on the little boxes to the right of each message or group of messages. Move to bottom of page to the box bottom right that says Selected Messages, click on arrow down, a pop up box will appear, click on delete. All messages you checkmarked will be deleted.

Now open your sent messages and repeat the process.
