Most years Cavan is a no go, lack of water. Bullshead is having water issues, pretty much dead, so sad.
Michelle and Ressor can be good, Ressor has Tiger's and both have Rainbows. Spruce is a pretty little lake that has Brookies. The irrigation districts have whites in all the reservoirs, they respond to chironomids very well, probably your most consistant fisheries if you can figure the whites out. Battle Creek in the Cypress Hills has small trout, 4 to 8 in. The South Saskatchewan river has Goldeye which also respond to flies well. If you really like creek fishing a Sask license might be worth it. They have a few creeks but it is an hour and a half drive. Be aware the creeks get very warm and should not be fished in July and August until the weather breaks near the end of August.
