Default Sylvan ice

Anyone know if the ice is good enough to drive out yet? Much appreciated.

Dec 18th .... there were at least 10 vehicles .... 1/2 ton trucks & SUV's out on the ice at Norglenwold today, some hauled out trailers & shacks. They were parked over 10 - 15 Fow.

Today's ice thickness at the noted location.

I called it. I knew someone down there would take a FS truck out on 11". They probably all parked close to each other as well. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way...

What lesson? Did any trucks break through?

Not yet .... didn't stick around to see how far this guy planned to drive out to but most are parked on 13-14" ice or more over 10-15 FOW.
