Default Slave Lake derby

Heading there for the first time both on the lake and to the derby. Where does everyone launch and stay? Not sure if we are hoteling it or camper. Any help with both would be appreciated. All pumped up to be fishing Slave have heard nothing but good.

3 different launchs being used...heading north out of town after you cross the river bridge take the first right to the provinicial launch which is accomadates 2 boats at a time, tourney volunteers are usually at this one to help with load and off loading with a big parking lot. 2nd is if you are campin at roland on the river has one for their campers and hes on the first left after you cross the bridge. 3rd is heading north of town and take the left before the river bridge and a quick right, right after and you will drive on the front road in front of home hardware, just follow that road to the old point and they have one there but believe they charge a fee...but its a marina and you can rent a stall to keep your boat in overnight if that's your "Thing". I usually just use the provinicial one...if you are using any other than the provincial you might have to come there anyways to get your morning livewell check done...not sure if the other two have anyone checking livewells there.

Hotels are super 8, holiday inn, slave lake inn (was the sawridge), northwest inn, lakeview inn. Cabin rentals at Nash's.

Camping...Big fish bay and resort is right in town and some stalls have all hookups...pretty sure they have a few small cabins. Norms walleye camp is right beside the provincial launch, but often books up fast with seasonals. And Roland on the river.

Welcome to slave lk and derby....Good Luck !!!

Right on...did you book a camp stall yet ? If not I could provide you with a few numbers to try...
