410 ram down
What a relief...
My hunting partner and I headed down to Exshaw on the 2nd of November. We packed a wall tent and some gear all the to the back end of Exshaw Creek. (6.4 miles) then came back out for a couple of days because both of us had to work.
Headed back there on the 10th. Stayed the night in Canmore and hiked into our camp the following morning.
Friday we had a close encounter. Saturday was the day! We hiked up on one of the ridges just back of the back bowl and hung out up there and watched and waited. There was a guide and hunter down inthe bottom with the ewes.
Make a long story short, someone ended up pushing the 3 out of the 5 Rams up to us and I was able to make about a 15 yard shot on this awsome Ram.
I have only did a quick measure. Should be around 165. (16.5" bases)
Will put some more pics up later.

Wow, Loopy Ram.... great hunt! Thanks for the pics.
I really enjoyed the part about the guide/hunter pushing the rams up to you.

That is a real trophy. There are not many people whom have a archery ram in their trophy room. Congrats on your significant achievement.

Right on Recurve! Beauty ram, amazing accomplishment and I'm guessing you're happy to have gotten the job done previous to this weather moving in, eh?

Anybody putting in the effort to hunt a ram with a bow deserves a hell of a lot of respect, well done.

Excellent!!
Congratulations on a fine trophy!! When you mention guide and hunter I wonder how many Non-Resident tags are in play vs. Resident?
