Default Late season elk

We'll boys. I'm hittin the road. Me and 3 buddies have late season tags and we're all pumped up. I set up a meeting with Norm outta the spirit river office for contacts and we should be all set up. Wish me luck cause I'm gonna work my #*@ off for a wolf. That's one animal I still don't have under my belt. Any pointers guys? Thanks in advance.

If you're on farmland, the biggest issue I had found was catching the elk feeding during shooting light.

Cold weather forced them into the fields earlier in the afternoon. Otherwise they tended to stay in the bush until it was dark.

Best of luck! Hope you get your wolf too!

Good luck, shoot straight!

Are you planning on using a predator call or just spot/stalk?
