6.5 Creedmoor Build !
I picked up a Stiller Predator SA Single Shot action about a year ago and have been collecting parts since, wanted it to look like a hunting rifle but perform like a target rifle.......so here's what Gunsmith Gary Flach put together for me.
28" Bartlein SS Sendero Contour, 1-8 twist 5R barrel
Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor
Timney Calvin Elite set at 1lb
Wildcat Var-Tac stock, palm swell and a cool green paint job
Talley's holding a Zeiss V4 6-24x50 scope
Gary Gunkoted everything in a new awesome looking Green/Black brushed Stainless Gunkote (custom blend)

That is a sweet looking rifle for sure!
Do you happen to know what it weighs?

Very nice. Also curious on a weight. You should get good speed out of that 28" barrel. What bullet powder combo are you planning to load?

That’s a very very nice rifle! Good work. I’m curious how it shoots so don’t be shy after range day. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind words, 10lbs 8.5oz without the bipod , and yes soon as I can get to the range I will be working it over with several factory loads to see what it likes and will handload from there, R26 seems to be working well with the CM and in my 6.5 PRC so I will start with that and hopefully 143 gr Eld-x and 140gr AB

Well Ive used a few different stocks and by far the best lightweight stock in my opinion, and you don't have to wait 6 months to a year to get one,
Stu at Wildcat is first class to deal with, even better they're made right here in Canada

Very nice looking rifle! Does it have DBM? Or has it got an internal magazine? If so, how man rounds can you get in there?

Zeiss V4
Hi, was wondering where you bought your Zeiss v4 scope from?
Also what’s your personal review on these scopes?
Thanks.

Awesome build fore sure.
The smell of burnt powder threw a new pipe is always fun.
My 3rd build is in slow motion since things are busy in my world,,, luck that I have 2 tack drivers for now.
Once it's complete, I'm back to the simple unit for the all.
My plan is to own 1 size of reloading dies, Ha. That's 2 die sets each,,, X's by 2.

for the most part they are an awesome scope, if your looking for that long range hunting scope, they are a great option, I have bought a few of them from Omer at Precision Optics.
They are tough as nails as I accidentally dropped one of my 8lb rifles from a height of 3 feet on the windage dial and it chipped a hole in our laminate flooring and never affected the working operation or the zero, I was crying like a baby until I got it to the range to see the zero never moved !
they track very well as I have done a box test and it returned fire to the same hole, the zero stop dial is very positive.
I prefer the Z-plex reticle as I find for target shooting the ZMOA style reticles are are a tiny bit to heavy for target shooting at 300 yards or more.
Clarity and dawn and dusk testing was second to none and we compared Leupold VX3i 4.5-14x40 30mm, Leupold VX6 HD 3-18x44, Swarovski Z6 2.5-15x44 and Zeiss V6 3-18x50, the Swarovski crosshairs were really tough to see in low (last) light conditions compared to the Zeiss,
Only negative side to the scopes as they are 22 oz, depending on the application ? but still much lighter than a Nightforce.
All in all its definitely one of my favourite scopes.
