204 228 230 Cow Elk Draw

My dad has this cow draw and is not having any luck finding a spot. Wants to take my son on a youth partner license. Any tips would be appreciated.

You'll find them easier going out looking walking and scouting then you will on here

He hunted mulies there lots this fall and is out right now scouting on new years eve.
He doesn't even know about this forum, I was just trying to help him out.

No good news here. I know 2 groups that have elk draws for that area and have hunted in 204 extensively. They have concluded elk don't live in that zone.

I am not familiar with this hunt, and don't want to derail the op, a tag is good for all these zones, different dates, same dates??

I have no regs around here right now, could someone please set me straight??

Season is Nov1-Jan20, and the tag is good for all 3 wmu's. When multiple wmu's are combined in a draw it's probably a sign that numbers of elk are fairly low. He knew that but was expecting to at least find a few...
