Default Who knows about Coleman white gas stoves?

Part of my cabin fever, winter hobby or bad habit (wife says) was I picked up 4 Coleman white gas stoves off marketplace, Kijiji and such.
3 of them are a standard two burner model 431 and 421 I believe and one is a beast of a 3 burner stove model 446.

I never spent more than $20 average each for these so using a few as parts units is not a big deal.
I did want to get a two burner and the 3 burner up and running for sure.

One 2 burner works very well, I’ll check out the other 2 stoves soon.
Now this 3 burner is showing me something odd.

The fuel tank and generator, the tip stops short of the burner manifold where I am sure it is supposed to insert about three-quarter inch like the two burner stoves.

Comparing the generator rod itself to the 2 burner stove, it is the exact same as the 2 burner stoves, and stoves are stamped to use this generator rod model 414–262.

There is nothing is banged or offset in anyway inside or outside the three burner stove and the only thing I can see is previous owner possibly replace the tip as it looks fairly new and the same as the two burner stove.

So wondering if anyone knows if the 3 burner stove tip is supposed to be longer than the two burner stove tip?

The tank for the 3 burner 446 should significantly bigger than the two burner 431 or 421 Stove. If it isn’t then chances are someone has swapped the tanks and put the wrong one in the stove

Also the gen for the 446 is a different number than a standard gen which will fit a 431/421/425 stove

Stove boxes are different sizes for sure.
And the tank for the three burner is bigger as well.
Moo has the same stoves and says I can compare, which is a great help,
Thanks all,

TBark
