Default Bear bait sites?

What are the laws/rules on bear bait barrels/pails left in the bush. I have come across several sites over the years and it is obvious people leave their barrels tied to trees. Is this legal or do you have to take everything out after each season. (Which is what I would guess the laws are). I imagine this would be considered littering.

Thanks in advance.

you have up to 2 weeks after the season to remove your baits and clean your site. depending what your using that can be almost nothing or a bit of work.

You are allowed to leave your barrels. They either have to be emptied or turned on there side to allow easy acess so wildlife can clean them out. Any non-decomposing litter must be hauled out.
