Default Can I hunt here? - West side of Battle River/HWY855?

Can I hunt here? - West side of Battle River/HWY855? About 50 meter west of HWY855.

I found there is a small parking space in the South side of the Battler River, west side of the HWY855.

Of course I won't shooting toward and following the HWY855.

Please refer to the picture and give me your advice.

Thank you so much.

Your best bet is to get a M.D./county ownership map it will tell you if its private (needing to gain permission) or crown (grazing lease, etc).

If crown make sure it is not off limits (eg. wildlife refuge/sanctuary)

I pretty sure the place is crown and is not wildlife refuge/sanctuary.

Better check to see where the provincial park boundary is there. F&W loves to patrol this area. You could give a call to either the Camrose or Stettler F&W to get clarification.

The latest issue of the County map shows that piece of land owned by Alberta Power (2000) Ltd. The Park boundary is about a mile upriver.
