Default Sticky Bow Limbs

I've got a Bowtech 82nd Airborne that I bought new in 2010. It's likely got 20 thousand arrows through it at least. Over the last several years, I have noticed that the limbs are becoming sticky do the touch and that the paint is starting to peel off all on its own. Underneath the paint, the fiberglass actually feels somewhat sticky as well, not sticky enough to leave a fingerprint but still sticky. The paint on the riser is totally fine.

I've owned the bow since new and can ensure that it has never been sprayed or oversprayed with a solvent of any sort, and it has also not been stored in a case but rather just sits on a bow hanger in my room out of direct sunlight. Part of me wonders if this is just par for the course for an older bow or if there is something else at work.

Anybody else experience anything similar? I've attempted several times to contact Bowtech to see what they think but am yet to hear back from them.

Thanks

Meant to say 101st airborne, not 82nd. The bow in question is my 101st.
