Want A Place To Hunt In Strathcona County

Hey Outdoorsman,

If you are looking for a place to hunt in Strathcona County then this might be your ticket. The Alberta Conservation Association is try to purchase the 1500 acre Golden Ranches property bordering North Cooking Lake. Will all ACA property there is public acess aloud which includes hunting. The ACA is holding a raffle for a Hybrid Toyota Camry with all the proceeds going towards securing the Golden Ranches. I would like some info on how to support this project as well. I use WMU 936 (Blackfoot) quite often to walk and stalk Grouse but it would be great to have more land available, especially since that is close to our shooting range.

As long as hunting is legally permitted, I'm sure any property that ACA is involved in will permit hunting. They do on all their others. Same for AFGA properties.
