Body found in reservoir

A body of a man was found in the waters of the Bullshead Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area Wednesday.
“It was a male approximately 71-year-of-age,” said Dennis Mann co-ordinator of emergency services for Cypress County.
At this point foul play is not believed to be involved, added Mann.
He believes the man was out fishing with some buddies.
The body was found in the southwest portion of the Bullshead Reservoir near the spillway, continued Mann.
“The dingy or one man fishing vessel was upside down.”
The identity of the man is not being released at this point.
According to Mann, the elderly male has a previous medical history including heart operations.
“I don’t know if that had any bearing,” explained Mann.
The RCMP were not available for comment.
